Um, the only thing I can think of is that you think about all the good stuff in your life. Family, friends, movies, etc.

Why are you thinking about suicide? Just bored of life or is it because of the breakup?

just remember that whatever is making you feel this way is temporary or with time it will pass. death is permanent and don't go there...life is a wonderful journey, but there are and will be bumps in the road. I have been there and just when I thought I wanted to leave this earth, something happened that I love and if I had done what I was feeling I would've missed it...don' t miss it!!!

Its the break up, Im goin crazy thinking about her. I cant get her out of my mind. She's everywhere I go. See I live in another state, and everywhere I go I see her. I see her walking down the street, I see her in my classroom, I see her in the hallway. I cant escape the thought of her or suicide.

well first, no woman or relationship is worth killing yourself over. Seriously.

Second, you have to occupy your mind with other stuff and stop thinking about her. I know that sounds obvious and I know it is hard to do but you have to do it. The more you think about her and rehash what has happened in your mind the worse things get.

The best advice I can give you is this...if things are meant to happen they will happen. The whole issue wiht your ex isn't totally over. You don't know what the future will hold so why beat yourself up over something when in the end it may turn out the way you want? And if it doesn't, realize you two weren't meant to be together. You just have to let time sort everything out. I say this from past experience son and once you come to the realization you can't control everything you want and you just let things happen you will feel a lot better because it really clears the mind and makes understanding and dealing with things a lot easier.

I agree with weird. And Baseballguy the fact that you even asked how to get those crazy thoughts out of your head shows that you're aware of how much more you do have to live for.

I know right now its pure agony and you feel like the world has stopped spinning, but this breakup does not signify the end of your life, its just the end of one chapter. And since you mentioned school, it seems like you still have a long "book" ahead of you :p

Hang in there sweetie. My bf broke up with me back in June and I, like sooo many others on this site, am living proof that life does go on.

Everyday just sucks a little bit less, ya know?
