Despite me NOT WANTING TO DATE THE GUY, the guy is asking anyway. I have no idea how my ex will respond. Could it be possible he would want me back once he realizes his best friend has the hots for me now? Like a jealousy thing? My ex could get pretty jealous sometimes. Link to post Share on other sites

I can never understand that kind of rationale: I'm not going to date so-and-so because my ex won't like it. Your ex doesn't owe you a thing, and vice versa. You are no longer in a relationship and neither one of you calls the shots over the other. You don't even like that guy who is asking you out. So who cares if your ex is jealous.
