Author patrol
Quick update: So yeah I did a little research and found this great guy on a youtube channel called real men real style. He really seems like an expert when it comes to men's style and really gave some good pointers. I'm personally pretty short and relatively skinny. Apparently wearing monochromatic clothing and long sleeve clothing helps to make you more appealing and seem taller. Express is a great store (even though it's expensive stuff) because they sell shirts for slimmer men. I've found that shoes make all the difference in the world. I got a good pair of leather slip-on shoes instead of wearing running shoes all the time. These shoes are amazing! They make me look sophisticated no matter what I wear above them. Henleys are also great. They're seen as casual but also separates you from the T-shirt and Polo crowd. Keep the top button unbuttoned. If it's hot, roll the sleeves up. Last and most importantly is probably to go into the stores and just try stuff on. Yes I felt embarrassed about trying all these clothes on because I'm a guy and I'm supposed to give a crap about how I look but it was totally worth it. If you want to cut the time with size, go on the store websites and see the sizing charts. If you're looking for a shirt, find the right size for your chest size. And a final note. For all the people who say you shouldn't care about how you dress.... I'm going to have to disagree. After finding clothing that fits me and flatters my body type, I feel a lot more confident in everyday life because I know I look good and I have nothing to worry about. Take the time to research style and clothing. Change the way you present yourself to the world.
