Highness
You might consider telling her straight up: I am interested in learning more about myself through you. My genetic history, my relatives. But it's important to me that it be on my terms only. That's what I need from you, can you do this for me? Tell her exactly what you want and what you're boundaries are as they come up. She really may not have a clue. She needs to think about that too. Soo agree. D-Lish you don't know me but Ive been on here (in various forms) for over a decade and I feel like I know you quite well. You are a people pleaser and (sorry to say) a pushover. This is very important though and you need to give her a chance to give you the explanations you need. Like 2sure says, she might simply not know what you need - so let her know. If email is the better way to communicate this, then do so. I wish you only the very best. xxxx
