pteromom
I once saw this movie (forgot the name), that described that when a guy really loves a girl whenever he's with her he wants to "unwrap her like a gift" as if she was his birthday present. This is a very strange definition of love. No matter how strong the love is, there will always be good days and bad days, and a relationship will nearly always go through the same stages. It is almost impossible to stay in the honeymoon period forever (though I do know a handful of couples who have successfully done it.)
jphcbpa
thank you. How do I do that while in a relationship without ruining it? Great question. You realize that he cannot fix you. You do what you are doing right now. Talk about it with others, write about it, see a therapist, go to 12 step meetings (slaa) if needed, read about this, ect. Keep the focus on you and do not drain the R with demands and neediness. Get love from yourself and others.
