exercise plan - hooping and skipping.

Recommended Posts

Since I'm a novice to working out and such, I was wondering if my "routine" is sufficient enough?

I do 500-1000 skips a day and I also hoop with a 4lb hula hoop for an hour a day. Whilst I'm hooping I do bursts of 3 minutes of intense movement/hooping (if you can imagine that haha)

I am also on a low calorie diet and have been drinking between 2.5L - 3.5Ls of water.

Also when I'm in the mood I'll do squats, crunches and work on my arms.

Am I doing enough?

(I dislike gyms and I get all self concious and prefer to "workout" at home)

Any kind of exercise is good enough in my opinion

However, I would change that routine once in a while to kick your metabolism since your body gets used to the exercise! :)

So, doing other sorts of activities instead, like some other cardio exercises! You can also do those at home! Working with weights etc etc, you get the idea, you got quite a choice :)

Also, with hooping, you can learn all kinds of movements that will imply different muscles than just the hip hooping, see? Youtube has some great videos on these :)

This being said, keep up the hooping, it's a great sport that is highly underestimated sadly... :bunny:

Yeah if you have a caloric deficit you should see results. Don't be put off by weight, it goes up and down when you drink lots.
