Thinking about going to the gym

Recommended Posts

Since I don't like the way by body looks. I have no choice but to change, the bad news is I have a fast metabolism so it's hard for me to gain weight and turn it into muscle. But I can't afford to keep buying food. Nor I want to shove my mouth with food thus throwing it up. What do you guys recommend?

How are you not satisfied with how your body looks? or rather what don't you like about it that you want to change? im a bit of a fitness fanatic (but by no means an expert) and could possibly offer you some guidance to point you in the right direction.

From what you said it appears that you are what i use to be, which is a "hard-gainer" which is someone with an extremely fast metabolism where its difficult to pack on mass. Do you have a gym membership or some place to lift weights?

Although I'm not a boy, I also had the issue of not being able to gain weight and having a fast metabolism. If I didn't keep up with the eating and exercising, I would get accusations of being anorexic. Most of the articles about gaining weight are geared towards men, so here's the advice I have (I have gained about ten pounds in the past month).

- You have to get used to eating more calories than you need BEFORE you begin working out. Take a week to focus on just the eating part. Track your calories and aim above the amount that you need to gain weight.

- Start a fitness routine that has you going to the gym 4 days a week and lifting at your max. If you aren't familiar with the basics of lifting (like reps, sets, weights, etc.) I can give you the routine I do that has helped.

You should start to see gains pretty quickly. It took me only a few weeks to notice significant gains, and after about six weeks, others are starting to notice, too.

Good luck!

Trust me I know that but what if I over eat and vomit it all out? Then what good is that?
