Emilia
Ooooo! I forgot to mention my new "favorite" ab/triceps exercise. You need two suspension trainer handles, hung from overhead to a height where the handles are at around the same level as your belly button. Grab the handles and walk your feet back/lean forward until your body is at about a 45 degree (more or less) angle with the ground. From here, do what basically amounts to a skull-crusher with the handles (lower your body into where you extend your triceps to bring yourself back to the starting position). Great triceps work with some added core stability work as well. I had a look at skull crusher. Hmmmmm
USMCHokie
My experience is that while you need to get to a low enough bodyfat percentage to see abs, you can make your ab muscles "bigger", which will help them be visible sooner. I love the ab wheel personally. Yessum, you need to add muscle mass to your abdominal region if your body fat is already relatively low. As with any other muscle group, weighted exercise is the way to go...
RonaldS
I actually love my body. There's nothing I would change about it. I'm very blessed that, especially at my age, I have the body I do and don't have to kill myself to have it.
FitChick
I don't have a goal physique but I need more of these. My ordinary gym doesn't have it which is annoying as it's such a simple equipment. You don't need gym equipment. Go to youtube and look for moves using body weight only or ankle weights. I like floorwork. Look at this DVD clip -- around :33, :55 and 1:03 you will see moves that work that area. Margaret Richard has shaped and lifted my butt like no other instructor. She is famous for her hip and thigh work. She is in her sixties. I think I'll do that workout tomorrow myself!
Star Gazer
What about glute ham raises? I had to look that up to even know what it is. I think my gym has that, but I think I assumed it was the low-back thing...
MrCastle
Daniel Craig is a good goal. I want something like that. My goal has been David Beckham because he's lean and fit and not jacked like crazy. I want to be defined and cut, and tight. Not bulky and thick. A lot of soccer players have a lean body because they do a lot of cardio and it doesn't really benefit them to lift weights. They're just cut and lean. That's what I want.
dichotomy
- Drop a full pant size, maybe 2 pant sizes, this should fix the gut area enough - Some defintiion on serratus anterior - lose some some fat around my pec I did admire Hugh Jackman when he was really bulked for his wolverine roles. The recent superman actor looked pretty good with his shirt off as well, but If I could achive the goals above (which I think I can do) I will be happy enough - and want to then focus on performance and ability goals rather than looks. Just be sure to train legs. Don't pull a complete Hugh Jackman.

Ya good point...Deadlifts/squats (hex bar deads) are my bad ass friends... along with the nicer friend of lunges. I like looking down and seeing a flair out on my quads...
SensitiveTJ
I've never had a goal physique, but as a competitive powerlifter I certainly have numbers in mind. At my next competition in October, I plan on hitting my first 600 pound squat and benching 350.

ForeverHopeful1
I would like to be heavier. I am a very muscular female (which is in part due to hormone imbalance.) My arms are cut, I have a six pack, muscly little legs, and a tight little tush! If nothing changed, I would be thrilled with my body. I never expected to have a 6 pack at my age. Lol. I am 5'4'' & 127lbs. I would like to gain 8-10lbs. I have a very physical job and it requires quite a bit of heavy lifting. I was in the hospital with severe pneumonia in June. I lost 21lbs. I have been on a friggin mission since leaving the hospital on June 17th. I was 109lbs on June 24th as I still continued losing weight even after coming home. I have gained a whopping 18lbs in a month. I have been drinking high calorie protein shakes and consuming a lot more calories than I burn, which has proven to be quite difficult in the past. I don't work out at all. I fortunately get paid to be fit.

Phoe
I don't have a specific physique ( like a specific model or actress or something) that I strive to match, because my own unique body proportions will never look the same as someone else's. I just strive to keep my body as awesome to ME as possible. I'm a fan of fitness, I work out about 5 days a week, I work my whole body. I take it easy oon my upper body and arms because I want to just maintain long lean muscle up there rather than actually gain some big muscles, but reallllly focus on lower body, I like having toned legs and a toned midsection. I'm naturally curvy in the hips so keeping my waist tight just enhaances the hourglass look. I'm fit but feminine. That's what I strive for. Long and lean. tman666
Frank Zane impressed me Those old school bodybuilders had such impressive and admirable physiques. It's a shame to see the direction that bodybuilding has taken. Most of them look ridiculous now (in my opinion).
