my girlfriend and i broke up, we lived toghter for 4 years, and it all dissaperad when she took her things and left. I was devestated, i was angry, and upset. why did she leave? I though she loved me? four years gone? i knew what i did wrong, i was a monster, i got drunk and laid a hand on her, i pushed her down and called her a horrible name. It hurt so bad, so i looked at myself, i became determined to fix me. So i seeked therapy and still do. i had a messed up childhood and i knew it was were it was all comming from. my view on relationships were distorted, so i read books on healty relationships and reread them. I would be ready for a better realtionship when she would call and time would heal her wounds.

 

i read an amazing book on how to get her back, i read it a dozen times for motivation and will power not to call her if your intrested its call

So she finally did call! and i took things slow

basically we started from scratch, she needed to build up her trust again and diminish the remaing hurt, she responded to me, and what i was doing, and we moved ahead

 

its been 2 months since she called me

we are back toghter and it feels like in more love than ever! i have only one more thing to hope for, to be able to live togther, and be able to fall asleep holding her in my arms again everynight. its one of the greatest joys i have ever known, and didnt know how much it meant to me until it was gone. First off congrats on getting back with your ex, good job. I read that book but nothing happened with me. If you dont mind me asking how long did you too break up for, was it only two months or was it longer
