krz12
Eat soup. It is very filling and more satisfying than water. I love Trader Joe's Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato. I think it's only 100 calories for 8 oz. Progresso Minestrone is my "emergency soup" at the office. Better than eating a candy bar. Any soup that appeals to you -- just read the label for calorie and other nutritional info. That's interesting. Right now I am on invisalign treatment, which makes eating a real pain in the neck. So, I started cutting out breakfast and snacks and only eat twice a day (early lunch at 11 am). That worked great for a while, but as I've gotten stronger and started working out more I tend to get REALLY hungry between 6 and 8 PM. I might try some afternoon chicken noodle soup. gaius
I can eat only 3 hamburgers from Burger King all day, lose weight and feel full the entire time. I don't do nearly as well if I try salads/fruits and lower fat options. Chewing gum also helps when you're not supposed to eat. Gives your mouth something distracting to do. If I eat salads and low fat yoghurts I feel awful. I only buy full fat everything. I just eat less of it and still feel fuller.
Star Gazer
Drink more water, eat more protein, and make breakfast your biggest meal of the day, dinner the lightest.
sweetkiwi
Drink more water, eat more protein, and make breakfast your biggest meal of the day, dinner the lightest. I've heard this to but it never works that way for me. If I eat a big meal for breakfast then my stomach is stretched out and I am way hungrier all day. OP, you're on birthcontrol??? No wonder you're so hungry girl!!! I gained twenty pounds in a month on the pill, then on the shot . It was awful feeling constantly hungry and not having the fortitude to put the fork down!!! If you are interested I have adopted a vegan diet in the past and I felt amazing and lost weight. Now I am pescetarian and I love it.

Now I am pescetarian and I love it. i've been on both the pill and the depo shot (currently depo), and neither one has ever affected my appetite. the pill caused me to gain a bit of water weight before my period, but had no affect on how much i ate. depo does not have any affect on my weight. sometimes hunger is simply hunger. as far as a vegan diet goes, i agree that it's a healthy way of eating if you're able to stick to it.
