misskaedy
I am 18 years and people always tell me that I look 12. I don't have a problem with looking younger than my age, but I have a problem when people underestimate me just because of my youthful face. People treat me like I am just a "little" girl. I am average height (5'5), I am average(slim) in weight, I am not flat chested(C cup), and I also have high cheekbones. I wear mainly natural makeup. I have never been asked out on a date. Guys rarely hit on me, unless I am blind. I have only heard one older guy that I do not know tell me that I am beautiful. Guys ignore me just because of my youthful face. I get tired of people scorning upon me just because I look young and I just do not know what to do. It gets really annoying. I even get afraid of going out by myself. Even if I do look young, I feel like adults are, for the most part, rude to teens/children. Adults view teens/children as being "unexperienced" in life and naive.
steveT95
I don't know how to deal with it. I have a similar issue. But just remember, when you're older and everyone is trying to look young and youthful again, you will still look great for your age.
Emilia
I know it seems to be a curse now but in a handful years time you will be so glad. All the girls you see now who look older and 'mature' will look shet when they hit 25 and if you are careful you will be still amazing when you are 40
T3h L337 d00d
Being slim with breasts and a youthful face is kind of the selling point of beauty. I mean there's a reason they used young teenage models to sell clothes, jewelry, make-up, cologne, perfume, cars...everything. Yeah so why don't you stop worrying and just be happy! I know it must feel like people don't take you seriously but believe me you have to fight for that respect everyday. I'm a grown man and if I let people walk all over me they would. That's a bit of wisdom for you.
sillyanswer
Adults view teens/children as being "unexperienced" in life and naive. Yes, I think this is true. I think it's generally justified; teens/children are inexperienced in life.
sweetkiwi
How do you dress? You could try "aging" your wardrobe a bit. Also there are ways where you use only a bit of makeup but the impact is more. For instance I like to line my inner lid rims with a med-light brown. Then all I use is blush and maaaybe lipstick, or tinted chapstick. Curl your lashes and use a black mascara with a big fluffy brush so you don't get spider-leg lashes.

Don't worry you'll be 25 going on 35 in no time. Trust me on this one lol.
Suave
I am 23 and look 30. Wait a few years and you won't be complaining.
Ross MwcFan
I hated looking so young for my age when I was in my teens to mid possibly late 20's. Now I love looking really young for my age, I'm 37 but look like I'm in my early 20's. Although I do feel a bit embarrassed telling people my age as they tend to not believe me, and plus I feel like maybe I might come across as a bit of a freak since I look like I'm in my early 20's yet people know that inside is someone who is almost 40. All but her face screams early 20's. Her face is literally ... child's face. Too bad she doesn't have the greatest personality. OP, you should try meeting ppl in avenues where it is a given that you are over 18.
Kizza
I am 31 and always get mistaken for 25... It is a blessing! you want to look younger than your age. Trust me, it may be a little hard now but you will come to appreciate it. As someone said, look at what you wear for now and how you accessorize.
