MyCoolNickName
What you guys are doing for this forum is unbelievable. I was wondering if you guys could put together a FAQ of some sort for the top 5/10 questions you receive, and your replies to them. I love how you guys respond to each question personally, and in depth, but I'm just worried about you guys getting swamped. =( Just my $0.005. =D
Tony T
That would be nice. However, every question has some unique element to it. Also, people post here because they want a personal take on their individual situation. If they were after a stock answer, they would go to a text book. Good suggestion but I think people would still post here even after they read the FAQ area if it existed. Love issues have to be treated much differently than other subjects. Very kind of you to take the time to make the suggestion. Those are my own opinions. Others may think differently.
Stargazer
Hiya, I think matters of the heart are a VERY individual thing, everyone's situation and circumstances are unique. A lot of similarites between dramas sure but still people want specific answers to their specific doubts and confusions. From what I've seen since I've started posting on here, actually I mentioned this last night to a friend over coffee, is that there are a hell of a lot of men that lie their little butts off to girls generally just to get into their pants. Also the girls are very, very young, they get so hooked to these guys believing there will never be anyone else who will 'love' them like these jerks did. Their perception of love is totally screwed. They'll put up with anything in the name of 'love'. It makes me real sad for them. Unfortunately it's a true reflection of the way society has let marriage mean so little. We have failed in that regard, marriage vows seem to mean absolutely nothing to a lot of couples, divorce has become far too easy and rampant in society, one argument and it's over rather than BOTH parties putting in the hard slog that relationships need to survive the long haul. In turn half if not more of this generation are from broken homes and marriages, no wonder kids have got huge self-worth issues. I am going to post something later on about my beliefs and philosophies on life, simple things I've picked up along this journey. Wanted to do it awhile ago but haven't gotten around to it yet. Doing! Just MY 2 cents worth :-)
