Martijn
Hello Everybody, I am a 22 years old boy and live in Holland. I am bisexual. Everytime I fall in love with another boy, he turns out to be either straight or doesn´t have any ambitions. This is a big dissappointment for me ofcours. I myself work very hard to fullfill all the personal goals I created for myself. Somehow I don´t seem to find someone who has the same ambition as I do. Are there guys who have ambitions? Perhaps it is my age. It mighjt be that boys of 22 don´t have to have ambitions yet?! This is not really an ad for a relationship. I am just wondering of guys have ambitions? Let me know how you think about this! Martijn
Ryan
Of course guys have ambitions. Not necessarily all of them do at 22, but some will. The question is why you aren't selecting the kind of people that do. Usually when you have a history of the same kind of problems, it's not about the other people, it's about you and what's going on with your psychology. Also, if you consider yourself bisexual, why are you only talking about other males? Have you considered that perhaps you are in a sort of gay denial? It's not uncommon for people to classify themselves as bisexual when they are really homosexual but haven't come to grips with it.
Worldly One
Martin, Why would you even consider dating men??? I've heard women in your area are sooo beautiful and plenty of them. Be glad you live there and have the opportunity to date those women instead of being in the US where so many women has stupid and limiting hang-ups about men and what they want. Word is GO GET WOMEN , NOT MEN. Enjoy your LIFE and get yourself together personally, then meet several HOT Swedish women or some from your area. Stay away from men for sex but find them as friends. T. Excuse me!!! What kind of an answer is this!! What is wrong with having a man as a partner in love! I think this is exactly the remark a narrow-minded man would make. Why don´t you respect the choice of someone, even if it wouldn´t be your own choice. That´s what I have to say to you Worldly one!!! Dennis
Worldly One
Well just spank my britches , Dennis. Don't Gay men realize the value and caring of women?? Duh!!!!!!!!!! Go get women, NOT men. Only right answer to a confused 22 year old. Get older maybe work on men , but enjoy your youth with youthful women, DUH!!! How many times do you have to be told???? W.W. Excuse me!!! Dennis Sadly enough, Dennis, I think parts of Worldly One's message are quite valid. While I do feel he could have put it a bit more nicely, it still stands. This young man is "bisexual" ... he's "on the fence," so to speak. While I respect his choice and his freedom to make a choice, I don't necessarily agree with the "choice" he's made. There's something deeper causing him to feel that he's bisexual and rather than praise his decision, I ask that he make quite sure exactly where those feelings are steming from. This is a case where surely professional assistance is needed. I'm not advocating that he try and "cure" himself of his feelings or anything as close minded as that, but just for the sake of being able to deal with those feelings, which quite frankly are not that welcomed in most societies. I'm almost positive that there are underlying factors here steming from his childhood that need to be deal with and brought to light in an appropriate manner. And, I'd recommend the same for you. Best wishes, LoveAngel

T. Hmm, shallow much? You need to realize there are people in the world who will date within the same sex. Beauty is only skin deep. It doesn't matter how beautiful the woman are; and women in the US are not all like that..especially me I know I probably won't be able to change your views, but there is nothing wrong with gay/bi people, although they are not accepted into many societies. Sorry you see things like that. Thiamine
