She started "working late" or "early in the mornings" a lot more often (on average she would work late once every two months, by April this was like oce a week). I thought something was going on, and got afraid of losing her. Then we had sex for the first time in a few months and she was totally different (sex volcano). I liked it a lot, didn;t think it may mean something at that time. From that point onwards, we have had passionate sex like 4-5 times a week and it was getting better and better. After the first confrontation, the sex continued a couple of times, but once she turned me down (syaing she was tired) and the second time it wasn't anything special - she was a bit "indifferent". I can understand seeing some if the things you've listed as potential red flags. Sex also increased dramatically for me during my wife's affair (twice a week from once a month). It was also accompanied by longer hours, shorter skirts, and higher heels. And she also got into erotic literature. In your case, I also think some things are sketchy. But I didn't read anything in those emails to suggest she was having an affair with that guy. In fact, I'm somewhat convinced that she isn't. Again, if you're going to investigate, do it quietly. The first rule when you suspect an affair is to keep your mouth shut, play stupid and happy, and investigate until you have ALL the evidence you need to make an informed decision. Confronting achieves nothing but to put them on high alert so that they either take the affair further underground or stop until the dust settles. In the meantime, they just lie, deny, minimize, and gaslight you (making you think that you're the crazy one). I don't know if she's having an affair or not but confronting her is just going to get you more of the same (which isn't doing anything for you and will soon lead the end of your marriage whether she's having an affair or not). 3 Link to post Share on other sites

The e-mails, the erotic literature... meh. Even more suspect is the fact that she's more sexual, but in an individualistic sort of way. By reading his posts concerning their sex life, it seems as if comet is seeing himself almost as a sort of living dildo "FWB". It seems there's not a real emotional connection in their love making. Looked at our PC and laptop....history doesn't appear deleted, but mostly"innocent" websites appear. HOWEVER Looking at the cookies I found the following: Cookie from a website called "sexintheuk.com" - plus 1 history item from November 2011 Cookie from a website called "meetic-partners" - no history item Cookies from Ramadajarvis (hotels), with a google search history item for hotel in Ealing (close to home)..... Lots of online shopping history items for underwear... Also, cookies last accessed for her work citrix from home appear quite afrequently (especially lately) during weekdays in normal working hours....when she was supposed to be in the office, not working form home.... I also have a gut feeling that if he looks hard enough and interprets things to support his suspicions, things are gonna blow. At best I see a woman in the prime of her life who is discovering, or rediscovering, her sexuality. (I read 50 Shades, and yep, my vibrators got more use, LOL!) Maybe sprucing things up (clothing, appearance) to feel like the woman she is and not just a mom. At worst, I see where maybe she toyed with the idea of an affair. So far, anyway.
