marie337
I have a weird question for those of you who have sought counseling for personal issues. I have a very disturbing and exhausting "obsession" with my husband's porn and masturbation habits. It gives me anxiety just thinking about it. I have been in counseling for this before but managed to avoid the real issue for the duration of the treatment. As a result, I'm now seeking treatment again, three years later. I guess I'm looking for advice in how to cut to the chase in counseling. I can't afford to let this happen again. Does anyone have any tips for really opening up in counseling? This is a very personal issue for me and I'm afraid that I won't feel comfortable enough to really tell her what's going on. I don't have time to mess around because this issue is really bringing me down.
jmargel
In the first session tell the counselor the same exact thing you just told us.
