Proxii1
Hello Right I don't know what it is but everytime I swallow I get this lump feeling twinge like an Elastic band snapping feeling at the back of my throat! It is now given me a sore throat. It doesn't twinge when I breath, only when I swallow, drink or eat. What could it be? Please help? Is it serious?
FitChick
Could be some sort of growth on the root of your tongue. Or it could be a lodged food particle, like popcorn. Eat high fiber food and see if it dislodges it. If not, go see an Ear-Nose-Throat guy who will look down your throat. Are you a smoker? Sometimes a lump in the throat feeling is hypothyroid but that is generally a feeling of dull pressure or fullness.
