SpiralOut
I met this guy at a wedding. I hadn't seen him in probably 10 years. We'd gone to the same highschool and our social circles overlapped, but we had never hung out or spoke to each other. Anyway, we share the same hometown, and some of the same friends as I said, so we met at this wedding. I arrived early and was sitting alone. He arrived alone also and he sat beside me to strike up a conversation. We have sooo much in common it's crazy. We hung out most of the night and hooked up. Later we went back to a friends place and slept together (clothes on) in the spare bedroom. We mostly just talked and kissed. It was intense. I like him a lot and he is very open about his feelings towards me. Problem is we live in different cities. When I left to take the bus back home, he told me he was going to visit me. To my surprise, he actually did two weeks later. He didn't know anyone in my city but me. He came up just to see me! We spent the weekend together. We were never at a loss of anything to talk about. He told me he thinks we are kindred spirits, and I agree. I have never met a guy before who shared similar spiritual beliefs as me. While we discussed them, we didn't even use the words "spiritual" or "religion" but it was clear to me that we share many of the same values, outlook on life, temperament, personal goals. We even have had similar relationship experiences, which is good. That was last weekend. I plan to visit him next month. Also on holidays we can see each other when we both visit our hometown. I don't know if it will work or not. We haven't made anything official. Anyway. I feel a real connection. This hardly ever happens for me. He feels the same way. I'm happy to finally care about somebody, like really like them. This might not work out but at least we can try. Oh and I think it's a good sign that the things that annoy me sort of make me like him even more at the same time. His quirks are cute.
