What's Up? I'm 29 and have no sex drive..How do I kick start it!

Help! I am a 29 year old single mom and I have absolutely no interest in having sex. I am seeing someone and I cant let myself get aroused by him. My mind wanders and I cant focus. He's starting to think it is him, but I can't seem to get out of my busy zone and let someone in.. Any advice? or does anyone ever feel this way too?

i have a friend who has the same problem.. she cant focus, she thinks about chores and work while having sex. eventually, she decided to go to a hypnotist to solve the problem and said it made improvements, but didnt completely solve it.... if your problem is concentration then that may be a good thing to try...

Have you always been like this or is this new? Have you got a lot of stress? Are you by any chance a person who has ADD?

Your post said it all "SINGLE MOM"!!!!! That explains everything and why you have no sex drive.

The stress and responsibility of being a single mom plus trying to date or enjoy new relationships while keeping half your brain focused on work and raising a child/children - there's no room for a wild sex drive unless you calm your mind and take time to pamper yourself and make yourself feel sexy.

I've been a single mom for 12 years. I still battle with living my life around my son vs. living my life around my wants and needs. Alot of single moms focus 100% on raising their children and feel guilty for taking time out for themselves much less romance and sex.

You're NORMAL - you're a single mom. Take time out for you and do things to pamper yourself - that's the key for getting your sex life to return. Late at night after everyone is in bed and you're alone - read something like Penthouse Forum or a racy novel. Then enjoy yourself.

Take it slow and it will return. Sometimes hormones and age causes our sex drives to crash. Alot of it's mental though - you have to get yourself in the right frame of mind and sometimes this takes effort.
