Is it just me or does anyone find it hard to watch the show Scandal?

It's very hard seeing the pain on Oliva Pope's (Kerry Washington's character). I was doing great until I could feel the sadness and break downs she had in every episode.

 

When you know exactly what you been through, watching that show causes me to think about my XMM and its extremely hard to watch.

 

I don't plan on watching the new season but since its still early for NC I can't watch it. Anyone else feel that way?

Actually, I feel sort of empowered watching that show. I always think, Olivia can never have the luxury of going NC or even LC. No matter what, even if she doesn't speak to her xMM, he is in her face all day every day - on TV, on the radio, computer, etc etc. And if she can move through life and continue to be this amazing career women, even if she is faking it, them heck, my stupid affair pales in comparison and I better wake up and get my sh** together.

 

But that's just my take on it! I personally can't wait for the new season.
