About 3 months of NC at the moment.

So I've been reading things on how to break NC lately, and I saw lots of suggestions on how to do so. One of the main things I saw was, "Just text her a simple 'hi.'"

 

So just a couple hours ago, I did so and I got a text back almost immediately that said, "Hi.....??"

 

I replied with a simple, "How're you?" about an hour later

 

I got, "I'm ok." almost instantly again.

 

I replied with, "Oh." about another hour later. (Now here's where I messed up because I wasn't sure if I should continue the conversation or not.)

 

After that I immediately got back, "..?" (Here's where I messed up more....)

 

I almost immediately replied with, "What?" Now it's been about 20 minutes, and no response.

 

 

 

Our story.

 

I met this girl back in my Senior year of highschool. She randomly messaged me on FaceBook with a link to this article about a woman with two vaginas. I chuckled, gave her my input and things kind of went from there. Her and I had been talking for a few months through out the winter of 2011 - 2012. I then met another girl that I thought I had liked better, turns out she wasn't even interested in me. About three months after I had started NC with the girl that started talking to me on FaceBook, she ended up sitting next to me in the auditorium at school. We had a thing where everyone in the class sent in baby pictures for a slideshow. My picture came up, and she said to me (remember at this point I haven't spoken to her in months), "Aww, you're such a cute baby." This was also said by a couple of my friends, but more in a teasing sort of manner so I shook it off, and didn't reply.

 

A couple weeks later I texted her, "I miss you." She replied, and was quite surprised and basically stated that she thought I never had intentions on talking to her ever again. We began talking again, and about three months later I was drinking one night. She was getting on my nerves, because I felt like she was leading me on. (This happened via text message aswell.) I ended up in a drunken rage about it, and totally cussed her out! I basically asked her how many other people she was messing with, and ended the whole thing with, "Go to bed already, cunt."

 

I woke up the next morning hung over, and my phone was beeping from an unread text (I fell asleep like 5 minutes after I cussed her out.) It stated that she couldn't even sleep because I had hurt her feelings so bad, and she was crying in bed and whatnot. I continued on by sincerely apologizing, and I had told her that I was drinking... blah blah blah.

 

We didn't talk for a few days, and out of the blue I texted her and asked her how she was. Things started to take off again. We started actually dating December of 2012, and everything was great. I liked this girl A LOT, and I was very happy being in a relationship with her. About two and a half months rolled by, and she started complaining about her insecurities and grew slightly more distant up until she broke up with me.

 

When we broke up, she stated that I did a bunch of things that she doesn't like. She stated that she didn't like how I put my arm around her infront of her friend about a week before we broke up, she also said how she didn't like that I'd randomly text her every now and then, "I like you," or, "I like youuu," etc. She also stated that she didn't like how I'd get upset that I couldn't see her (we usually were together two days out of the week.. not very close if you ask me...) She also stated that she didn't like the fact that

it was hard to get me off with her hands and whatnot (we didn't have sex, we just fooled around a lot.... oh and this is where it gets even more confusing.)

 

That day after she broke up with me, we were at my house. She was leaving there, and I walked her out to her car like usual. She leaned in for a kiss, and knowing dumb ass, horny 18 year old me... I went for it. We made out for a few minutes, and she was on her way.

 

I texted her the next day, and everything was cool. She replied back like she always had... and that continued on for a couple days. One night she had offered me naked pictures, and I replied back with, "Send them if you want. It's up to you." (I said that because I was unsure if she was just testing the waters, and trying to make me seem like an *******.) She got all mad, and grew further and further away day by day. I'd message her here and there, and she just flat out ignored me for about a month and a half. Eventually one day she replied, and I basically got her to state that she misses me, but it'd be better if she didn't say that, and then I tried asking why she got all mad and ignored me in the first place. She stopped replying that instant, and I haven't talked to her since.

 

Did I mess up so bad that I won't be able to get her back?

 

Do you think (by the slightest chance) that she may still be into me?

You two just don't seem very compatible or happy together. So much fighting, bickering, rudness, and immaturity.

 

I'd just cut ties, grow up a bit, and find someone new. The history the two of you share is very rocky and it looks like it's reappeared every time you've been together. You're young, you'll find someone you match up with better.

Rocky? Yes, you're right there. I don't know though, I just think there is something there. I mean, why would she have forgiven me those couple times? Why does she still have me on FaceBook, and Skype?

Could she just be leaving it open so she can come back at a later time?
