skydiveaddict
I have never been on a date, I have never been kissed. I don't believe in premarital sex or co-habitation. I am 22, I would like to be married by 26I started a diet and exercise regimen today, and I am looking for a job that I can use my programming skills with, but I am just very depressed. Don't be depressed. You'll be just fine. You'll find someone. You're far too young to be worrying about this.
pink_sugar
Husband got a degree 3 months ago and still doesn't have a decent job, so there is much more to things than just getting a degree.
Dolphono
Boy, I can remember the day, when the whole world was built and no one had degrees. All these here "degree" people and the wold is being destroyed under their watch. Simply amazing... Show of hands please. How many people with degrees answer on a daily bases, to someone who doesn't have one?
Mr Scorpio
Absolutely. Assuming that she was 1) intellectually curious, 2) able to support herself, and 3) passionate about something.
Pompeii
There are extremely smart people that do not feel the need to spend excessive money on college. They generally are business people . No, most business people are opportunists and do not actually create anything. They market and sell ideas. Most people who create actual things that generate wealth, a higher standard of living, and productivity usually never receive credit for their ideas with the exception of a bi-weekly housing stipend from the people who make money off of their labor, ideas, and toil. But I agree, business takes a different kind of "intelligence" than just pure academia. I wouldn't consider Jay-Z to be the pinnacle of rational thought, but I'd be bull****ting if I said he wasn't a damn good businessman/opportunist.

emva07
For me it's about someone who has goals and ambition in life. You don't have to have a degree but you can have a go-get-it attitde and be better off than someone who does. There are ppl with degrees who just sit around feeling they're entitled to a good job then there are those who use their degrees to fight to the top and get there. It's all about each individual and their drive.
