It seems so rare and the Second Chances section proves no different. So either those that succeed never come back to LS and live happily ever after or things just didnt work as they would have hoped for and moved on. Which seems more likely to you? I'm saying this as well because I know this is a reality check I'm sure ill be forced to make even as I secretly hope to get back with my ex again as she goes through her "Independence/GiGS" phase... But how often do The Dumpers come back? And how long do they take? Are there any dumpers that Dont miss their exes at all? Can you share your stories. Dumpers: Did you ever regret your choice? How long did it take for you to realize? Dumpees: Have any of your exes gone back to you? i myself have only been in two serious relationships. One of three years which i broke up with. I asked for a second chance a month later but it didnt work. And now this one Im the one being dumped. Mine came back a month later after I kicked him out for cheating. Lol listen, just because you've never been contacted or haven't been contacted yet don't single me out. Look at all the people before.me that said they all have been contacted. Do they contact? Sure. jesse93 Posted August 25, 2013 Share Posted August 25, 2013 I've been contacted but she ended up wanting to try and be friends with me, couldn't handle being friends with her because I love her, so I ended contact randomly one night, not sure if she'll contact again or not, but I can't play along as one of her friends at this time, maybe one day but not anytime soon. Define success. Success in it happening at all? Success in it not falling apart right away? Once you define that, it'll be easier to answer... or depending on the answer, I may have given my 2 cents in my previous post in this thread. And why just use this forum as the defining metric? During the relationship he took her for granted. Not giving her a valentines gift, not returning calls for 2 to 3 days. It was so hard for her to let him go ( he is a handsome Harvard grad, owns his own business, u know the type). But she had to give up that dream. Now she is with a guy who totally loves her. Always writes sweet things on her twitter. She loves it. And her old BF, is in complete agony. He even wrote me telling me he missed her. I felt bad for him, but you make your bed hard...
