lonelygurl74 Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 I still love him. Although I have not heard one word from him in the whole duration of our break up. I don't know if I am just being weird to still think that he may call me? We do have 2 children. Aged 4,2. We broke up on pretty bad terms and I told him he needed to leave. With a lot of reluctance and me yelling he did:( We both smoked a lot of herb to a point where it was interfering with our daily routines. We both agreed to stop smoking and for 2 days he just withdrew and turned very evil. He called me nasty names and became violent at one point in front of our 4 y/o. I got scared and told him to leave or I'd call the cops, so he did:( I do keep busy with school and other stuff but I still love/miss the guy and care lots for him. I figure since I have the kids, he should try call, oh yeah he did once about 3 months ago and I was still mad. I never spoke to him but I called his mom and told her to tell her son that I had moved on and not to bother calling or coming by. Of course I really hadn't, I just wanted him to kiss my butt. Stupid hey. If he was in jail he would be calling me like a stalker ( he was in jail and he would harass the crap outta me when we'd fight) Now that he's free to roam about, he is using a n/c approach. We were together for almost 5 years. I think there are many ppl on here that give great feedback so any advice would be appreciated. I know ultimately the decision is mine but if anyone can maybe relate???

louisclark Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 Have you stayed off the herb during this time. If you have thats great you will be helping him straighten up. Give him time he will be around, trying to be loving but be tough on him.

He's 30 and by my user name perhaps you can figure my age out. I did say I still loved the guy but do I want him back? No! I'm just saying I do care for him and miss/love him. Some days are harder than others, ya know? There are days when I don't even think about him. However, I do believe ppl can change if they want to. If it's meant to be, then we will work things out. bluechocolate Posted November 12, 2004 Posted November 12, 2004 If you get caught with drugs in your house there is the possiblity that your children could be taken away from you, temporarily or permanently - so good that you stopped. (that is not a moral argument against smoking weed - just a reality about the law) If it's meant to be, then we will work things out. I thought you said you didn't want him back? Has he made any effort to see his children? Is he paying you any money to support his children? I suspect that answer is NO to those questions, but I could be wrong.
