ShannonBanana
It's been A WEEK! Things that have gone right: -Got a haircut and feeling fantastic. -Met a new friend (from LoveShack)and had a fun day together. -Spent time with friends hiking, enjoying the great weather, and eating good foods. -Got to the gym twice and started personal training sessions. -Started the process of moving back home (an international move) by throwing away old things, putting things up for sale, and letting the material items go. This has been emotional, but cathartic. -I have not strangled STBX husband, which is always a good thing. -Have taken the time to make sure I have all three meals (I tend to skip food when stressed) and have been drinking plenty of fresh veggie juice that I mix in my nutri-bullet. So, lots of things that are going right. What are some things that are going right for you?

littlejaz
I have joined a new church, as in a church that is just forming, feels good to be in on the start of something. Joined a group on meetup. First event is still a week away, but at least I RSVP'd and have something to look forward to. Considering starting a group on meetup. This is a big step for me but I feel like I am being called to do it. So we'll see how it goes. Smiling a lot more. Feeling more confident that I can rebuild my life, letting go some of the anger, but I am still in the divorce process - just like our marriage, can't get him to engage, so at this point I am just waiting on our court date in November. But I am determined not to wait on the couch.
2.50 a gallon
I got a nice royalty check for some of my writings The GF upon seeing it declared that I was taking her out to dinner My reply your choice The next night, while preparing to reheat the doggie bag Mexican food She declared she wanted Chinese So I dropped a C-note on the two of us. It was a cheap date, when one considers all of the loving I get from a beautiful woman I can trust, who does all of my laundry, squeegies the shower etc. For those who don't know. I was once in your shoes. Shortly after the breakup of my marriage, I accidently discovered at age 35 what I wanted to do with my life. Historical Research is my passion, and have been known to get some of my discoveries published. And have since found love again. Something that I thought was an impossibility after the break up of my marriage. In short, there is a new and better life in your future. It just takes time to get through the detoxing of your busted marriage.
