setsenia
So I've had a ton of interviews lately and nothing so far. Been job searching about 2 months now. I'm highly unsatisfied with my current job and it pays poverty level. I need a job with a livable wage asap...so tired of being broke constantly and hating my job that doesn't value me as an employee. I have a degree and experience, I just don't know what the issue is. I know it takes awhile, but I don't want to wait forever for another job. Hate feeling like "what did I do wrong?".
clia
If you are getting interviews, that would indicate that you have the skills they want. Have you considered looking for a mock interview type course to see if there are things you can improve with respect to your interviewing skills? Have any of the companies told you why you weren't hired?

Have you considered looking for a mock interview type course to see if there are things you can improve with respect to your interviewing skills? Have any of the companies told you why you weren't hired? I was thinking of doing something like that although I do think I interview fairly well. I think the biggest issue is that when I get called for interviews, usually the companies are interviewing several people for the job and then later deciding who is the best fit. I'm thinking it's competition more than anything as I've gotten positive feedback that I've been a strong applicant and that it was tough for them to make a decision. Feedback would be helpful though. How would I go about asking for that?
