Your favorite moments between just the two of you?

I am being all mushy tonight, and with all the bad stuff floating around on here. I want to hear some cute things!

With the mister being gone, I find myself missing things that pertained to only him and I.

 

So what do you and your SO do together that you feel helps the two of you bond?

 

 

 

 

For us, one thing we always do is watch Notting Hill together. After our very first date, I went home and had this urge to watch it, it is one of my top favorite movies. That night when I put it in, I messaged him saying I felt the need to watch it.

What do you know? HE DID TOO!

Turns out, it also happened to be one of his favorites, and since then, it has been and is OUR movie.

Boyfriend is working late? Watch Notting Hill, it always has and always will be a way for us to feel like the other is next to us even when they can't be.

 

Then there is our "tub time". We had a tiny apartment, and he is a huge fan of baths. [we were always getting each other little bath gifts, he would get bubble baths for me, I would get salts for him] Every time one of us would take a tub, the other would be sitting next to the tub, and we would just chat. Some of my favorite conversations happened with me holding his hand while sitting next to him on the tile floor while he soaked away.

That's cute!!

 

My boyfriend and I are really goofy. A lot. We're serious when the time comes for it, but sometimes we just get insanely goofy. One time we were in the bathroom about to get ready for bed. I ran off to my room and shut the door, hiding behind it. He opened it a second later and I poked my head out and started copying everything he did (I'm pretty sure he was copying me earlier, which is why I did it). It ended up with us laughing and falling into bed.

 

Another time, we were watching a movie at night and I casually said I was in the mood for chocolate milk (big thing with us). He got up and got dressed. I asked what he was doing and he said he was going to go get chocolate milk. Then when he got back he mixed me a glass

 

One time we were walking around downtown and there was music playing, so he just stopped and we started dancing right there in the middle of the sidewalk.

 

He likes to lick my face. I'm pretty sure he only does it because of my reaction. I pretend to cry and beg him to stop. One time I told him (jokingly..) I was going to call his mom and tell on him. So he just went ahead and called her himself. I refused to tell her lol so he told her instead....to which she told him to stop.

 

We were sitting on the floor one day and he was just looking at me quietly. Then after a few moments he said "God, I love you." swoon

 

And I probably have a million other stories of us being goofy lol.

Lots of codespeak and silly future plans. We refer to our future children as "the little tigers" and send each other tiger-themed messages all the time. And it's not just the kids; we have an entire mythology around ourselves and our relationship, with references to different types of birds, nests, euphemisms for sex and love, and are able to drop these casually into conversation even when other people are present, so we can say I love you without anyone knowing...

I don't have any particulars but overall we get along very well and the disagreements/fights are kept to a very low minimum. Those are my favorite moments.
