AlexanderJames
Hey guys I havent used this forum in a long time. Not since a rough break up going on two years ago but it was really helpful so I thought I would come here again. I'd like to start by saying that I do not have a drug problem or addiction. The actual reason I'm posting this is because I'm going through the after affects of the drug and I can't find any useful info on the net about it to put me at ease so hopefully this helps people trying or coming off of the drug themselves. I did my first ever hit of cocaine saturday night. It's currently 11pm Monday night. I'm not a frequent stimulant user so I do not have a tolerance to substance. It was a small line, un measured. I mixed the drug with moderate amounts of alcohol and a single capsule MDMA. (It was my second time taking MDMA caps, the first being Friday the night before) I had a great time for the most part of the night. The coke was done at about 10 pm and the MDMA at 3am when I felt the coke wearing off. After taking the MDMA I noticed a slight bit of anxiety. I'm not sure if this was a result of the cocaine or the MDMA or both. But I felt everyone in the club I was at was looking at me. And those I made eye contact with I felt wanted to hurt me. This lasted all of 15 minutes and I was okay. I got home to bed and went to sleep fine. I woke up 5 hours later an went to get my car. I didn't feel too bad and wasnt sure if the comedown happened while I was sleeping or not. After I got my car I went back to bed and rested for the remainder of Sunday afternoon. I noticed I was sweating a bit but put that down to being the first day of spring and the warmest day in months. I was up for about 4 hours Sunday afternoon before going back to bed to be up early Monday for work. I slept from 9pm to 11pm Sunday night and woke up to my housemate making noise. That when my problems started. From 11pm through passed 3am I was awake in bed. Tossing and turning. Sweating and twitching. When I would sit up to cool off I would get really cold and I would feel exhausted like I couldn't hold up my own body weight. When I would lay down to try and sleep I would get sweaty and I would find myself kicking my heels and tapping my legs un controlably. I also found I was repeating random sentences or song lyrics in my head over and over. I was getting nervous knots in my guts when I tried to sleep which would result in me sitting up and starting the loop again. From 3 onwards I started dozing off for periods of about 45 minutes to an hour and waking up in cold sweats from terrible nightmares. I went to work regardless thismorning after a berocca and lots of water but had a difficult day. I couldn't concentrate I had sore heavy eyes and I was drained and fatigued. All I could think about was getting home to bed and sleeping. I got home at 6 tonight and slept until 8. And again I have woken up. It's been 3 and a half hours now and tonight had proven to be worse than last night. I have had all of the same experiences tonight plus some More. I find when I close my eyes that I am extremely anxious. I feel unsafe and paranoid and I get recurring gut feelings of despair and fear. At one point I found myself having a panic attack and hyperventilating so I called a friend in an attempt to calm down. Quickly this changes to extreme bouts of frustration and anger. This is stemming from the fact that I am so tired all I want to do is sleep but I cannot. It's like insomnia. While in this episode I notice my tolerance to everything is minimal and my response to everyday things such as a bug hitting my window or my housemate talking in the hallway make me want to get up and put my fist thought the window or my housemates face. This anger soon turns into hysteria and I break down and cry. Everything is too much. I've had this little cycle three times now and I am waiting for the fourth while writing this. I have no access to Valium or other recommended aids. Only warm milk which hasnt seemed to help. If you're thinking of experimenting with coke be warned. I did the smallest amount (be it with other drugs) and I can guarantee you no force on heaven or earth will get that substance inside of me again.
melodymatters
I'm surprised you are so quickly attributing this to the cocaine and not considering that you have NO idea what people put in MDMA pills or caps. I doubt it's the coke having this effect. more likely some odd ingrediant in the ecstasy. Just because you did x once and had no after effects means nothing.
Author AlexanderJames
Sorry I probably should have stated that I have done x a number of times over the last 6 years and never felt anything like what I felt over the last two nights. Never felt anything more than a day after. I never said this was an experts guide to doing coke. I only actually wrote this post to stop myself from feeling the anxiety and panic I was feeling at the time.
almond
I'm surprised you are so quickly attributing this to the cocaine and not considering that you have NO idea what people put in MDMA pills or caps. I doubt it's the coke having this effect. more likely some odd ingrediant in the ecstasy. Just because you did x once and had no after effects means nothing. Correct. MDMA is often adulterated. Ingesting unknown substances is dangerous. MDMA and cocaine is also not a good combination for many reasons - I strongly advise against this. Cocaine also generally blocks the effects of MDMA almost entirely. Please research all drugs thoroughly before partaking (Erowid and Bluelight are two very reputable sites), and exercise extreme caution when combining substances. You need to purchase a reagent test kit. They are quite cheap, and could save your life. Test your stuff before taking it. If you need more information or a source, PM me. If you are too lazy to get a test kit, don't take drugs. You will be fine. What you are experiencing is not uncommon when it comes to taking a bunk pill or cap. You're coming down off something, but it is incredibly unlikely that you have sustained any permanent damage. There are also plenty of research chemicals being sold as cocaine, with some of these being extremely potent and dangerous. What you need to do now is exercise daily, get plenty of sunlight, eat healthily, and get a lot of sleep - this will significantly speed up recovery. If you do all of these things, you'll be feeling right as rain soon enough. Drink some chamomile tea, or take some Kava (legal, and easily available online). Give it a couple of weeks, and you'll be fine. Anxiety is what is causing most of these symptoms. Chill out - everything will be fine. Are you currently taking any prescribed medications? Plenty of these can cause severe adverse reactions with illicit drugs. Always research before taking anything.
Author AlexanderJames
Thanks for the helpful response I'm feeling pretty well now. Still a tad tired but obviously because I've had nearly no sleep since Sunday. I have been drinking lots of water and eating heartily at work even though my appetite was pretty small. I had a few disorientated and dizzy spells during the day but nothing major which is good. I'm not on any medication at all currently. I'll just have some camomile and keep trying my best to sleep it off. I'm glad you suggested exercising because I went to kick boxing tonight because I didn't want to fall behind in my training. I was hoping it wouldn't make it worse
Dallers
My two cents on cocaine, it is a drug that may not appear Class A until you use it long term. The odd occasion and you can have a good time as long as it is not cut badly and feel confident and enjoy yourself. Because of this you use more, soon enough you are addicted without knowing you are and by that point it is too late. I found when I did cocaine that long term use brought on the negatives, I became extremely overconfident and dangerous and risky. I would have scary moment of rage and then feel confused about why I just jumped out of my car at the lights and proceeded to punch somebodies driver side window when they cut me up. It really is a drug that has big positives and quickly becomes a big negative and is a very expensive habit. If you do kick boxing throw in some weights and hit supplements to build muscle and load up on testosterone and caffeine instead you get a much better high from that without the nasty side effects, jail time and cost. LilGirlandOW
Sounds like maybe you did meth and thought it was cocaine? Coke high lasts minutes not hours or days. Even if its your very first line. Dont get wrapped up trying to get int ocoke, its a short high and too expensive for the hassle. Glad you're feeling better
