this is true...

we must face the demons

i was always curious though ..dont they have a human side? like not care that much i am speechless......what a snake she was(about my ex)

dada all the nice things me her in my clk crossing the world and her oo cant believe i found my prince when in the last year she prepared for exit and used me used my soul used my dreams of our future....she exited form us and let me know it lastly....like i was the last man on earth,,, the last human like noone...

the pain of betrayal cant compete anything....

the idea that they dont have guilt or demons adter these acts and are thickheart make me vomit.....

i hope karma gets them...always it does i supose

OP, you are dead to her, if she's anything like my soon to be ex.

You do not exist to her. You can bring nothing to her. She does not want to see you, hear you, or be in the same room as you. It doesn't matter what her medical state is.

My wife would rather be homeless, than to ever even entertain the thought of reconciliation.

This is how some people are. We all want to be Forrest Gump, and care for our ex's even after they leave and get sick. Forrest Gump was a movie. Your ex doesn't give a **** about you. Didn't then, and doesn't now.

Tough words, I know, but spare yourself the grief!

Yup, some turn into a person that I could never know existed within them.

My soon to be ex cannot even be bothered, after five months of separation, to even answer a simple question about a letter that came to my address. She obviously forgot to change one last mailing address, and it was too difficult for her to answer my question of "should I bring it down, or do you want to pick it up?"

After a couple of days passed, I just brought it down and slipped it under her door, since she wouldn't answer it. No thanks later, no nothing.

Any more letters come, and I'll just burn them. You see, they'd rather lose their arms and legs, before even contemplating even a basic direct to business communication with you.

Trust me, just let her die in peace. Her karma seems to be arriving...

She has cancer and is on her death bed and you are saying it's karma?

After seeing several family members suffer and die to cancer, I wouldn't wish cancer on my worst enemy. I'm disgusted by these comments.

Tough. I suppose it's Karma...

And don't worry... I watched my Grandfather get wheeled out of the house after he passed away there due to cancer. Well, actually more the morphine to cure the pain, but nonetheless...

And it was my Grandmother that was in charge of the Morphine shots, since it was in house.

She passed away also, always thinking that she killed him (she did, but his pain required Morphine)...

They were married for 60 years. The ups and downs they had dealt with were harsh at times. They held true to their vows... They died together. Their marriage wasn't disposable.

Disposable is the new trend. That should be more disgusting to you...

Breaking up with someone regardless of how it might be does not warrant someone dying or being terminally ill. This is not karma, the girl has done nothing wrong bar reject you and get a new boyfriend. So your pride is hurt? and your heart hurts? No excuse to wish this on anyone.

As I have told many people on here over the past few days. Carry on slating your exs, tell karma to go and get them. The only people that will be sad will be you. You will end up bitter, lonely old people because you couldn't heal and get over your pride.

That is not her problem, and quite frankly.. she has certainly more important issue's to be tackling right now.

The fact of the matter is, her condition doesn't warrant any "extra special" treatment. It doesn't matter if she's dying or not...

She thinks of him as trash, lower than the lowest, and his time and money would be better spent at a rub & tug... No joke.

human is not disposable i agree,, i dont wish bad for her, but its just this Hubris Nemesis tisis so as i say wish good to all humans but when you ask for it you get it.... that and that cant escape it with nothing... you cant reject someone who accepted for years and opened his veins and heart... because simple as that he is human that needs you to not enemy that does hold you from getting your self feeded.you forgot you used you betrayed you will get it for sure even if i dont wish it for you... thats a fact.....been said since ancient times....

Agreed. The issue is though he asked for advice. He was told to leave her alone and not intrude on something he shouldn't even know about.

Did he listen? clearly not.

He put himself right in the firing line and I don't blame her one single bit for chewing him up and spitting him out. He knew the risk, it backfired and now he feels like ****!

Yep... Once they check out, they check out!

I hate to be negative in my posts, but honestly most people on this forum should expect the worst, because that's most likely what they're going to get...

I wish the odds and dynamics were different, but they aren't...

Nope they aren't. Once you break up with someone they aren't the person you knew anymore. They are someone you don't know. They don't have to be polite, kind, nice or talk to you at all.

The fact remains he went into a lion's den dressed in a meat suit and got attacked. It's his own fault and hopefully he learns from HIS bad decision.

so my ex's best friend texted just now. basically i'm conversing with my ex, but using a middle man. she said my ex is still in the hospital and doing fine. said that they know i care about her, and that she'll give me updates. she said we both need time to heal, and maybe she can have a friendship in the future, but she has to be the one to initiate that. i told her to say i was sorry for everything and she understands. said we both got hurt from what we've said to each other, and said she doesn't have a new boyfriend.

anyways i'm done with her. i can't do this anymore.

How many times / ways does someone have to dump you before you actually believe you were dumped? Once is enough for me, why isn't it for you?

In the future... BE DONE and DON'T DO WHATEVER YOU THINK YOU WERE DOING when someone breaks up.

They didn't dump you to test your resolve, to have you prove your love for them, to have you fight for them / the relationship, etc. They were not kidding, it's not a joke, they were not asking for your permission or your approval either.

They dumped you because they no longer want to be with you, no longer see a future with you and sure their life is better off without you in it. There are no "ifs", "ands" or "buts".

dude. you don't know my story. she didn't want to break up but it was the best thing. when she broke up, she wanted to see if i would live up to her expectations. we hung out, went on vacation. she wanted me to prove her wrong. she wanted us to get back together, and i didn't know this until she told me. my mind was clouded by the fact we were only friends, i let my emotions get the best of me. i did some things that i wish i could take back. but now i'm done. she tricked me and was abusive.

Ah, relationship shouldn't be this hard, at least healthy ones.

it wasn't healthy at all. it was very turbulent. constant fighting, more of me being passive and her walking all over me. i should i have known better when listening to my family that she was no good.

Advice was given, it was ignored. I'm reluctant to condemn her treatment of him on this particular issue. If an ex bf rang me for a whine about his problems whilst I was sick in hospital, I'd probably tell him to go f*ck himself.

Clearly whatever is going on with her is bigger than this relationship breakdown and the OP would be wise to constructively deal with his problems, and leave the ex to deal with hers.

Yeah, she is really sick and worried and he is all about "me, me, me." If he genuinely cared about her, he would have been very worried about losing her forever rather than losing her to someone else.

tell me how would you feel if someone you love was in a rebound relationship and had a life threatening disease. its not easy when you see someone new and of less importance take your job. thinking this might be her last moments alive, me wanting to know what's going on in her life and to see if its okay to give a proper goodbye. so excuse me for being an emotional wreck.

You didn't do that though -- you cross-examined her. Stop trying to justify things -- you were foolish to contact her and you were even more foolish to conduct yourself the way you did. Your excuses don't change that or make it better. Just stop.

dude, i know i f**ked up. what can i say, i'm not trying to make light of the situation. easy for all of you to point the finger at me and tell me i'm wrong. its not helping me at all. have some empathy, i had a nervous breakdown, i let my heart speak and not my mind.

Then stop trying to justify it. Just let it slide and move forward and stop trying to spin it.
