miss_jaclynrae Posted September 4, 2013 Share Posted September 4, 2013 I feel a million times better than I did a week ago. The boyfriend is all set up in his new permanent apartment and he finally has international calling and data! YAY! The "shininess" of Paris is wearing off, I get to actually talk to him everyday [we skyped for an hour yesterday and today we talked on the phone for over an hour] and overall he must be missing me more because there isn't anymore not talking for a few days. I know actually that he is pretty overwhelmed with everything right now. Me being busy with school has been a huge help, not to mention I went out this weekend with the roomie, so it was nice to get out for once. Hanging out with old friends too, just keeping busy. Things are just going really well and I am so glad that we pushed through the first few weeks, they were terrible. I still have my moments, but luckily they are becoming less and less emotionally tolling. I just feel blessed really, he has been amazing in handling my "insane" moments, and I am just so grateful to have him in my life. Almost one month down, I made it through the first month! Author miss_jaclynrae Posted September 6, 2013 Author Share Posted September 6, 2013 Thanks ladies! We seriously have been skyping and talking everyday for at least an hour and I am in heaven. I feel a little bad though, I can tell he is having a hard time, the group he was with the first few weeks are now all into their own places. Only a few people talk to him still, one of which is this girl whom he can't stand, and she lives next door to him. She keeps asking him to do everything with her [i think she has a crush on him ] but then again, she is the only one who he talks to. Now it is his turn to wait for classes to start. I am just trying to be as supportive as possible, I think he is finally realizing how it is going to be this year though. I am just happy we are finally back to feeling like ourselves when we talk.
