Steve1962
My wife of thirteen years has decided to leave me for an old flame she found on Facebook. Our sex life was over years ago. She just wouldn't give me any. I never cheated or thought about cheating. I cleaned, did laundry and yard work. We have no kids together. Thank god. Her father is a preacher but she is agnostic. We grew apart and became complacent. She is moving out of course I'm keeping the house and not filing for adultery as we have not much money at all so I stand to gain nothing. I am living in my house with her son and his wife and 4 year old daughter. I am devoting my attention to her since "granny" is leaving. We don't fight or have harsh words. Her kids are fine with it I suppose. They are all over 21. Anyway. Yes it does hurt. I know I have a lot of crying to do. But reading these post helps a lot !!! My word of advice ... If you believe in god , marry a woman who does too. Because if they don't they have no morals. I'm sure ill be back on to get more support later. Thanks
Misadventure
Steve, there is a book I am reading now that was given to me (bad title but good). God loves Broken people. I think you should read it. I am sorry for what you are going through.
Eggplant
If you believe in god , marry a woman who does too. Because if they don't they have no morals. I'm so sorry about your loss. It's terribly wrong of your wife. I don't believe, however, you can correlate morality and belief in God. I can give you plenty of counter-examples of church-going people who are morally bankrupt, and nonreligious people with a strong sense of right and wrong.
Mr. Lucky
She is moving out of course I'm keeping the house and not filing for adultery as we have not much money at all so I stand to gain nothing. I'd guess you meant filing for divorce. Why wouldn't you file ??? Mr. Lucky
GuyInLimbo
Steve, as an atheist, I take GREAT offense by your last sentence. How dare you? It's this hypocritical, holier-than-thou bullsh*t that I despise in supposed "Christians." You have a lot of nerve to lay this blanket judgement on people because your wife cheated on you.
