So many questions, so few answers.

Why is it that my thread "I want to watch my wife have sex with other men.", which generated a lot of interest and responses was locked but the thread "Giving him sex anytime he wants it" is not only left unlocked but pinned so it's always right there in your face?

The reason given for my thread being locked was that the same issues were being rehashed over and over (not the exact words). Can't the same thing be said for the never ending influx of "Porno is ruining my marriage" threads? Wouldn't it make more sense to have one generic Porno related thread than to have at least 5 separate ones on the board at any given time?

OMG! I LOVE that username! Should I call you Save? Drama? Yrmama?

Anyway, regardless of whether you find my old thread repulsive, sexy or just redundant, it generated a lot of interest and it was fun addressing the new people that chimed in with questions and comments.

Maybe I'm feeling a bit silenced.

I answer to drama, save, STD4YM, llama, dramallama, dork, oops forget the last one.

Many people have felt silenced on occassion around here, but the law can't always equally enforced...and I think that MANY people also feel that the porn issue is very, very tired.

I suspect the mods have some type of law of diminishing returns. Every Thread eventually reaches that tipping point where the noise and repetition substantially outweigh the informational value. The point of disagreement is when does this occur. A thread starter is like a loving parent: Her Thread can do no wrong, is fresh, exciting, always interesting and of great value to the multitudes.

The mods are more disinterested in their cold appraisal of a Thread's continued usefulness. Deciding when to close a popular Thread is an art, not a science. It's subjective, impressionistic and to the ego-wounded Threaded starter always a little unfair as he scans LS for dumber, less popular Threads with longer shelf lives.

Life's unfair. :)
