So this august i went to spend a moth in canada, in my parents friends house, they have 3 daughters a 21, 20 and 14, and me and the 21 got along really well and we kissed on the 3rd day i was there... We felt in love, after few weeks, we would sleep together and i took here virginity from here... anyhow i had to come back to portugal, and it's been awfull for both of us, i can't do anything, everything seems boring, at night i cry for here, in the morning too, i'm going back in 1 year to live in canada, in their house to study, but it's 1 year from now, i'm scared i'm getting a depression, it's been 3 days... any advice? Omei Posted September 10, 2013 Share Posted September 10, 2013 A year is nothing, I think it go's by really fast actually all you can do is make sure to keep the fire alive, Skype, watch online movies, play games whatever you can. Don't get depressed over it try and make as many self improvements within the year, don't be constant talking of sadness and being distant will put a damper on your relationship it will wittle away. justwhoiam Posted September 10, 2013 Share Posted September 10, 2013 I guess you were a bit naive, because you left and probably didn't think of how it would have felt being one year away from each other. You could have made your leave a bit sweeter, having things of her with you, things she could write for you to read on paper, messages written by hand, something she would wear, etc. And you could have done the same for her. You can still do that... in the next weeks and months... but you had a big chance while you were there. It's just that you didn't think of it. Have stuff of her that makes you feel she's nearer. Skype with her. Plan things to do with her. Have a to do list for when you go back. All the weirdest or silliest things you can think of, but really feel like sharing with her. And she can do the same. Set boundaries for both. Ask her what her boundaries are. Like she shouldn't get drunk and spend the night out till 5 am. etc. Link to post Share on other sites
