Moniq
Ok, im pissed at myself because I am blessed with many things and sometimes I don't see it. Today my STBXH asked for a divorce. He is in another state and he cant see his kids on a daily, weekly or monthly basis so I know I am in a better position than him. I think we should write about what we are thankful for so that we can see ALL that we ACTUALLY have. I am thankful for: My kids My house My mom My family and friends My future.

RonaldS
1. My kids- they make me so proud and happy. I could paragraph after paragraph about them. 2. I am really thankful for my XW. We were not a good match, we did not have a great relationship, and in the end it turns out we don't have much of anything real between us. But for a lot of years, she was my best friend. She gave me three incredible children. She gave me the family I had always wanted. I could blame her and be mad at her, but I choose to accept her. I'm thankful for the time she gave me. 3. Always thankful for the life I live. I'm pretty blessed with a lot of things (not money, necessarily) that make life easy and fun. I'm healthy and active and youthful for 39. I am fit and am able to participate in any physical endeavor I choose, as I have no health issues or anything to slow me down. 4. For me, getting women is almost as hard as tying my shoes. And I live in a great city that is crawling with women. That's how I've arrived at my lonely vs alone position. Hard to be too alone when there are 15 attractive and available women just on my block alone (actually, probably a lot more than that) 5. The opportunities that I have. Again, blessed to work in something where I give to, rather than take from, society. And other good things flow from that, and I'm thankful to have the freedom and flexibility that I have. 6. The people of Loveshack. I've gotten a ton of great perspectives and advice. Hopefully I've been able to reciprocate, and as I continue along, I will continue to give back to those who are entering the place I've already walked through. littlejaz
I am thankful that I have a place to live and food to eat. I think many of us forget how many people in the world don't have the basic necessities of life. I am thankful for my family and friends, new and old. I am thankful that God loves me and forgives me and for all the beauty he gave us to enjoy. I am thankful that I am coming out of the divorce process happier, healthier and with a positive outlook for the future. I am thankful for all the supportive people on LoveShack.
