Matt
Not long ago (only about five months) My girlfriend of nearly four years broke it off with me. I was devastated, and didn't know what to do. Recently I went to visit her (it might help if I told you there were about three hours of driving between the two of us) and we went to the winter formal at her school. (once again BTW, she is 16 and I am 17) We had a pretty good time and afterward went to a friends house to watch a movie. For the first time in five months we had close contact between the two of us. It was about three in the morning before she dropped me off at the hotel I was staying in. Before I got out of the car we kissed quite passionatly. The only thing I could think was what the heck prompted that? We hadn't been like that for so long and then out of the blue that happens. And even now she seemes to be distant and airy (she gets that way when she wants to tell me some bad news). What in the world? I just dont GET girls. Just curious, ladies, as to what she might be thinking, and I just can't get into a female head (I don't wanna get pummeled) so please give me the best advise you could, I'll appreciate anything. jaava
have you ever had one special night and it was over with that person (like a one night stand but not so serious)? maybe that's what it was... even though you knew eachother, there was history, you went out, and you kissed.... usually it's no consequences but you know her so maybe she feels as though it was a one night thing and that's it.... a new lesson, think before you kiss jaava

Oh well, stiff upper lip right? please don't respond, this is just to let anyone who could possibly care about it know whats up. Matt

She needs to figure out what she wants; give her some space, talk to her and ask her what's up. I think she's trying to decide whether she was right to break up with you, or if she wants to get back together, or if she's going to blow you off completely. My best advice is to have a really long talk with her...good luck! Love, Thiamine
