Kiss on the lips on the second date. What does it mean?

I just had a second date that I think went very well. We had lunch, and a good conversation. When we stepped outside of the restaurant, we hugged, then looked into each others' eyes and kissed on the lips for a few seconds.

 

I then walked her to her car, we chatted again, and then kissed on the lips again, this time with little tongue.

 

Forgive me, but I'm a little inexperienced. Is this a good sign? Do I have a good chance for a third date and beyond? Or was she just being polite?

Of course it was a good sign. Girls don't normally kiss guys on the mouth if they are just "being polite". Ask her out again soon.

Being polite is getting a bloody handshake at the end of a date! A kiss is a very good sign. she's into you. Just be cool. Ask to see her again. IF she says yeah, then just keep the texts and stuff to a minimum.

Oh come on - of course it's a good sign.

 

Ask her out again within 2 days! Do NOT wait too long.

She's into you now and it is up to you to:

a. keep it that way

b. dial up her attraction for you

 

You already kissed, so make sure that you can have some alone time on date 3 and step up the game (as in have at least a make-out session). You have to lead here and you have to show her that you're into her by stepping up the game. Of course, make sure to go slowly, almost teasingly about it - if you jump her right away, you communicate neediness which will kill the mood.

 

PS: When you ask her out again give her a call. Shoot her at most 1 text saying that "you'll call her [insert timing here]."

Certainly sounds like a good sign to me, especially the second kiss. Let her know that you have received the "message" and want to spend more time with her. However, don't take it as an unconditional green light - continue to "read" her and don't rush things faster than she wants to go.

I'm in the same state as you, JustinVisitin. After reading those replies, I feel positive that she could be still into me

 

You should ask her out on more dates and I will do the same Take it slow..

It means you ask her out again.

If she says no then it means you are a bad kisser or she decided there was no "chemistry"

 

But if that happens just take comfort in the fact she liked you enough and found you attractive enough to kiss you & use that to help bolster your confidence with the next woman you date.
