compulsivedancer Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Tinder pulls from your Facebook profile. I think some people on there sign up and then never actually adjust their photos. So if they have weird Facebook photos, that's what you see on Tinder...

It's almost scary how many girls are on that app. I paid no attention to age. Clicked on anyone I found attractive. Just about all of them matched and I have about a billion people trying to go out this week to meet up. There are soooo many girls on it now. I highly suggest it to any guys having a shortage. I'm still getting a lot of college age girls vs older ones, but I'm not complaining. The sheer number of them is boggling my mind.

In my case, i get a lot of matches but most of them don't reply, or flake all the time. Only a couple have kept the conversations going. Most want you to keep the conversation alive while they only reply in two words, and ain't no body got time for that. A lot of flakes, a lot of casuals on here for me. I guess it depends on what area you are around. 1

I also have about 80 matches and i've only had the profile for just over a month, yet hardly anybody replies with more than 1 word answer, or they are miserable, depressed and no matter how pretty they are their personality bores me to death! Have got a few dates hooked up from it though, so can't complain Yes, you need facebook, but just to login and get your pictures, it doesn't send any notifications or anything like that. 2

Be careful that they aren't all scammers---run those profiles through google before talking to them. Any woman who has sexy pictures up but won't meet you or skype/facetime because she's insecure about her body (but has sexy pictures in her profile--see the disconnect?), they're a scammer--dump them.

I guess I could use my pic with a fake name.

oberkeat Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 I suspect the women on Tinder are just as flakey as those on any other dating site or app, if not more so. OLD seems to attract women with short attention spans. If you don't give them butterflies right away, they next you.

I just go directly to meeting with all potentials in my life, or talk to someone new. I match and text/meet within 24-48 hours. Don't have a lot of time to waste on online banter/fantasy. Always been a realistic. Keep in mind I probably swiped right on one out of every 150-200 women., so I had even less matches than most people would.

I honestly didn't look at any ages at all and made a point of doing that, while trying to pick older ones visually.
