Tickets were 1100 as it was on the 17th on every site I looked at, I had to change my date a few days earlier because after the 17th, each day added about 100-150 to the ticket price. I used the priceline name your price? I said $900 and I got one for $910! Not a terrible flight either!!!

I have enough to get core work done! I have a plan, get major work that is needed NOW done, then just get the rest of it done in January when I come back and my school money comes in. :p

Not just that, but by doing that I will have a good chunk of money for traveling.

YAY!!!!!!

Flights to Europe generally drop after November 1, which I usually when I travel, if I am the one paying. I'd never go to Europe in the summer. The prices are jacked up and it's crawling with tourists! :bunny:

Did you get your passport sorted yet?

In the week before you fly be sure to check the TSA website. They are constantly changing the rules and you don't want to be turned away at the gate.

Not at all... I want to stay in school for less time so I can leave earlier. That is my choice! I am the one who came up with that idea.

It would be easy, I wouldn't be forfeiting anything.

You initially said he suggested it. Ugh, which is it woman!:lmao: Still not smart to postpone your education considering all the planning you're both doing for the future and neither of you have a solid career and are both in college at a later age. It's only for a couple weeks though so its not that bad I guess. Have a great time in Paris. :bunny:

Oh are you referring to when he brought up me dropping out and just lliving with him?

1. That was more of a joke.

2. I would never.

Lol I thought you were saying I was postponing my education by going in april.

nothing that I am doing is interfering with my education. None, he would never in a million years actually want me to do that... heck, he was the one to tell me I should go to school!

FYI for the future, you should do App-O-Rama's if you want to travel for less. You can do some research on the Internet about it, but essentially it's signing up for specific frequent flier mile cards and collecting the sign-up rewards and using them to get free flight tickets. There's a bit of research involved but it's worth it. People will do these over and over again for free travel. One of my friends and his wife flew round-trip to Thailand for free for his honeymoon.

No no, I was responding to what you wrote in your opening post:

He wants me there so badly [to the point where he has honestly brought up me taking a semester off] but financially we need to be smart.

No worries, we're getting our lines a bit crossed here.

Common occurrence on zee internets!

Have fun in Paris it looks like it all worked out. :bunny:

Sounds like a good deal! Enjoy your trip. :) The best thing about LDRs is the amazing visits, if I may say so myself. Feels like being in honeymoon phase all over again!

(I really, really hope he offers to contribute to the second ticket and I hope you'll view it seriously if he just expects you to foot the whole thing again though).
