tiki
Any suggestions? I was curious as to whether or not I was even supposed to "dress up" and my coworkers notified me that YES!!! I have to get sexy lingerie for my honeymoon. So I was thinking...surprise my love with something from Victoria's Secret. Any suggestions? How much should I plan to spend? I was thinking two-piece, the older lady at work did a one-piece, but I'm cool with a two-piece--but only for the bedroom! Since we sail out on a Sunday and wed on a Monday, technically, should I wait to surprise him til our official wedding night? I'm thinking yes! Anyone seen anything cool at VS? I'm going Friday, I think.
binturong
I found a nice corset w/thigh high stockings on Ebay. The funny thing is, I didn't even wear it til the end of the honeymoon, and that was just to make sure I DID wear it. For the wedding night, my DH liked taking me out of my dress. I just made sure I had cute underwear on, but no special lingerie. And during the honeymoon? We didn't need any added incentives...it just happened when it did, so I never really had the opportunity to take the time to put on lingerie.
alphamale
Right, and don't forget to take your CFM (come f***k me) shoes also. Maybe you can wear them while you fool around. Trust me he will like it.
tattoomytoe
go with something easy to take off.....which i never really though was an issue, until you are trying to pull some slinky tight thing off over your head while still trying to get it on.....slows the processs. i like red, i think reds are soo hot and totally sexy! i just bought a corsette with g-string, it is pretty commfy, and bf thinks it is totally sexy....best of both worlds! blind_otter
I agree with bin. You just want to wear something cute under the wedding dress - a corset and stuff looks lumpy (depending on the dress - I wore a big poofy princess dress and it still looked lumpy when I tried it on. savethedrama4allama
Definitely wait and bust it out on the real wedding night. I wore something cute under my dress but for the real deal I had a long sheer gown from VS. I am categorized as the more "classy sexy" than "sexy sexy" so a g-string deal wasn't my style. Of course the guy I married never gave a fuh about that stuff so it was pointless anyway. Check out VS online and see if anything looks good there.

I totally agree with tattoo!!! It really kills the moment when you are trying to look sexy while battling to take off that very sexy yet complicated lingerie Simple but sexy is best for this occasion!!! Though I have seen a beautiful corset at VS that has this lace in front that you tie, they are thick laces............SO BEAUTIFUL!!! But it looks hard to take off, unless you can pull off that very slow sexy tease show!!!!! Good luck girl
izzybelle
and there are so many options to choose from!!! i asked my (now ex) what his preferences were for attire for the wedding night. his response? pjs. silk ones, but regular, fuddy pjs, long sleeve top and pants....boy should that have been a major clue for the direction things were headed! if i was to do it again, i'd go all out. black (because i look best in it) two piece, garter, stockings and the CFM shoes. if you've ever dressed up like that for someone, the look on their face is priceless! IMO it's worth the few minutes to excuse yourself and change. the way they look at you dressed like that is a look you will never forget, nor will they. and plus, again, IMO the more things they have to undo, take off, etc. just makes the whole thing so much more exciting! Author tiki
Ok what's a corset? I think I know, but am not for sure. And I'm supposed to wear this UNDER my dress?! No way man! I was thinking later that night I'd put it on, lol. You'd see the lingerie thru my dress.

Okay is it just me or does anyone else feel silly wearing shoes wtih lingerie? Are CFM shoes high heeled strappy things? Why would I be wearing shoes in the house? I'd feel self conscious but maybe I should try it.
izzybelle
the first time i wore the shoes with something i felt really silly, until i thought about it and eventually worked up the courage to look in the mirror wearing heels tends to change the way many women stand and carry themselves and it makes your legs look great! actually now, if i wear such an ensemble without shoes and look in the mirror, the stocking feet just look really out of place. plus, one guy i was seeing, loved the shoes and didn't want me to take them off! everything but the shoes
binturong
A corset is a tightly fitted bodice that laces up the front or back. Some will have busks so you can adjust the lacing one time, then use the hooks and eyes to put it on/take it off. The one I got also had garters to hold up thigh highs and it came with a thong. Usually when I wear lingerie, it doesn't come off til we're done, so I don't worry about the ease in getting it off. CFM shoes are the best. I like the platform stilettos that would be impossible to wear outside the house because you'd break an ankle. Most of my lingerie only gets use when I want to surprise DH. I always get home 2 hours before he does, and sometimes I'm feeling frisky. When I meet him at the door in lingerie and CFM shoes, there's no question about what I'm after. I just don't usually like to get started first, then stop everything to go put on lingerie, which is why I didn't have anything special for my wedding night. Once we were alone, there was no way I was going to have him sit around for 15-30 minutes while I changed out of my dress and into lingerie, especially not since he was so fond of me in that dress. Author tiki
Thank you. I thought that's what it was. I go to VS tomorrow. I hope I find SOMETHING.
tattoomytoe
i would just take the lingerie with you and change later. and look at Frederick's of Hollywood.
EC
Frederick's of Hollywood. I like that site but it's more kinky I would say. For your wedding night VS does have very nice things. I k now I go there almost every weekend and always end up paying more than what I intended. I loove corsets, they make me look like I actually have a nice shapey body and give my boobs a little push up. I love it and corsets with thigh highs and garters..wow! My bf loves it. I still can't wear the CFM shoes. I feel dumb. I haven't tried it. Maybe I should But what kind of shoes would you wear...Why would I be wearing shoes in the house Exactly I would feel weird I dunno? Author tiki
The closest Fredericks is about 1/2 hr from my work...I've gotta be sly and do it on my lunch break. The local mall is just a few minutes away, with a VS. I'm not for showing my ass in a thong. I would need one the size of a hammock! And it would look like lost dental floss. I was thinking a cute two piece something to sleep in or prance around in. Gosh, idunno why but I keep thinking light pink and black. I gotta get off this, lol.
tattoomytoe
soon as honeymoon night rolls around, you will get off! i think pink and black is sexy too. it is girly pink, but black and sultry at the same time!
EC
I loooooooove black and pink....I bought this one at VS that was a black bra with pink lace around it and then a black mini skirt type of think with built in thong and pink lace on the bottom with a little pink bow the garter connecter thingys and I bought the thigh high stockings to go with it. WOW looked so good..and my tattoo was the finishing touch. My bf Loved it. But they have lingerie at VS specifically for your wedding night very beautiful stuff! If you go online you can see what you want and then go to the store and be in and out in a jiffy.
Author tiki
So the store has all the same stuff as online, for sure? I couldn't wait for it to be ordered or anything. We leave next Sunday morning!!!
EC
Yeah the store should have everything thats on the website. But even if they dont you have an I dea of what you want from online and you can just walk in and tell them what you want based on what they have. I love VS when I become a famous singer/actress/writer/dancer/president I will own my own VS!
