BassWalker
I'm at stage now where I'm in my 30's, and I should let my standards go down. However, I can't do that, not yet anyways. I still have my set standards of dating women who have no kids, or extraneous baggage, are between the ages of 18-26 and who I at least consider to be an 8. I walked around my campus and seen maybe 3-4 ideal women but they were walking with some guys. Then I went to the mall seen a few but the ones I talked were 'involved'. I then stopped at the local library and one librarians was cute but she had a wedding ring, and that took care of that. I was about ready to leave. I noticed some year books from various high schools in the area. I looked through a couple of them. I was flipping through the senior photo section of one books, there in the H section was most attractive woman I have ever seen:love:. She had strawberry blonde hair, bedroom eyes resembled both Courtney Cox and Alexis Bledel. I wrote down her name, but I found some bad news because the book was dated 2002. I'm going to wait a couple of days and then I'll try and see if she's on facebook, or something. I'm trying not to think if she's married or has kids. Has anyone had any success in doing something like this? Would you consider 2002, to be a long time ago? Any thoughts or words of advice before I proceed?

ForeverHopeful1
Just a little creepy. Also, a man in his 30s should not be looking for anyone who is 18. Disgusting.
man_in_the_box
Just a little creepy. Also, a man in his 30s should not be looking for anyone who is 18. Disgusting. The booked dated from 2002 - senior photo's. That should make her early 30's by now. Nonetheless it is still a ridiculous plan. Restraining order in 3... 2... 1...

Author BassWalker
Stalker much? Don't hunt the poor woman down please. You're asking for a restraining order. In no way should looking up some stranger on facebook even be compared with stalking a person. At most, I would send her a message. What would be the big deal with that? Just a little creepy. Also, a man in his 30s should not be looking for anyone who is 18. Disgusting. Why? An 18 year old is an adult; therefore, two adults dating can hardly be considered disgusting. It's time to call your doctor and have you meds adjusted again. I know my idea is extreme. I'm looking for opinions, if all you can do is throw insults from behind a computer screen, then I ask that you refrain from further posting on my questions.
normal person
I know my idea is extreme. I'm looking for opinions, if all you can do is throw insults from behind a computer screen, then I ask that you refrain from further posting on my questions. "Extreme" to you seems to translate to "creepy" to most people reading this, myself included, so I think you've gotten the opinions you were looking for. I know you think a woman might think this whole thing is romantic, but she won't. She'll likely have the same reaction everyone here did in addition to being terrified. Please don't do this. Disillusioned
Let her go, dude. I feel gypped... I thought the "hitch" was going to be that her last name is .jpg.
Criticality
I don't mean to be rude. But maybe, just maybe its time to start lowering your standards just a tiny bit, when it seems like a perfectly rational alternative to look for dating-material in a decade old yearbook. Especially since everybody finds the alternative to "lowering your standards" to be just a tad bit creepy. (And no, before you even think the thought through: Finding out where she lives it works, and coming up with a "random encounter" does in no way or shape make it less creepy than just emailing her or sending her a FB message)
