*Scandal was my favorite show before I learned of my husband's affair.

 

I no longer have a stomach for it and didn't attempt to watch the new season.

 

For instead of a love-sick Romeo and Juliet of a different circumstance, they now appear like a VERY WEAK MAN and a JEALOUS THIEF. :sick:

 

What once appeared as romantic, scandalous and enticing now seems disgustingly filthy, reckless, and unworthy to be aired.

 

It is different when you are in it.

 

*The show is about an affair between a married father and a childless woman

it's funny that shows like these are the toast of the town until it happens to you.

 

it comes to mean that infidelity is quite exciting and entertaining right up until it hits the ol' homestead, eh.
