What did I do to her?

Hi everyone

 

This is my 1st post.

This is something that is really worrying me right now. I have had a really awful year with some personal issues. The one person who has been there for me throughout these issues has been one of my university lecturers. She has been fantastic and helped me a lot. We became close and she shared personal things with me too. She said she had never connected with a student like this before. Anyway, she left the university a couple of months ago as she was unhappy there. She said she wanted us to stay in touch and said we will speak and see each other a lot. Well I have emailed her several times since she left and I've heard nothing back. I spoke to another lecturer who I know was good friends with her and she said she is just having a clean break of things at the moment and she kind of seemed to imply that she didn't want to talk to anyone associated with the university. I just feel so hurt as I feel she has just rejected me and she is the last person I thought would do that. She really became

Like a mother figure to me. I was just wondering what people think. Do people think I will hear from her again? Do people think she ever really cared for

Me?

yes that really hurts when people does like that. unfortunately we all been there:( the only thing you can do now is just wait and see if she turns up! and if she does then tell you how you feel! good luck!

I would never say never. She may just be dealing with some personal struggles in her life at this time. I would try not to take it personally.
