Is this going nowhere?

I've been talking to this girl for about 5 months on and off, we've known each other for about a year now. We've been talking everyday now for about 3 months, sometimes through text and sometimes on the phone until the early morning hours. It all started after her birthday when I got her a bouquet of flowers delivered to her house, after that is when we started talking daily. Since then I've tried to take her out on a "date" but she always has an excuse on why she can't go but yet whenever her friends plan a night out she invites me and insists I go with her (positive sign, yes I know). I'm not the type of guy to pressure the situation or bring up the topic to not make things awkward between us. She's bought us tickets to a couple music concerts that are coming up within the next 3 months which leads me to believe that there's something there but at the same time when I try and take steps to move forward I'm not too sure if the feeling is mutual. I don't know if I'm just overthinking the situation or if I'm just wasting my time digging myself deeper and deeper in the dreaded friendzone. If I can get any advice or insight it would greatly appreciated. Hope to hear from you all soon.
