Sleep Deprivation

I have a question about sleep deprevation. Is it normal to feel absolutely wiped out if you usually get 8 hours a sleep a night and for some reason go two days in a row with less? Say 5 one night 6 the other? My body seems to take it really hard if I miss sleep at all and it's frustrating cause I worry that something else is causing me to be so tired. I get to the point that I have to take an evening sometimes right after work and take sleeping pills and go to bed at 6:00 and not wake up till 7:00 the next day and then I feel ok again.

 

I know this may sound confusing but it just doesn't seem normal to me.

Have you been to the doctor lately for a physical? There are a number of imbalances that can be corrected with diet that will enable you to have more energy.

There was a time when I went through that. It's when I found out that I was pregnant. I was always so tired, and I would come home right after work and crash out till the next morning. When I found out I was pregnant the doctor told me that fatigue was a normal sign of pregnancy.

 

Maybe that might be it! :confused: Or maybe you're just one of those people that must have 8 hours of sleep to be able to function each day.

I know I'm not prego. I think I've been feeling like this for about 6 months now. It's only when I don't get a lot of sleep though. I guess I'll have to go to the doc if I don't improve. Thanks for replying.
