kanga
Is it OK to invite a guy friend to visit your hometown for a weekend? And what if that guy friend is maybe, possibly something more but not an actual bfriend? I want to invite him, but I fear that it's not appropriate given our uncertain situation. bicyclejunk
It's 2004. No biggie, Invite Him!! My friend Sierra invites me to things all the time. I'll go stay with her family her and her family etc. It aint no thing. It could be a thing to your 'family' though. If it's cool with you and you think you're fam won't give it a second thought, INVITE HIM.
Author kanga
Yeah. It's probably not too big of a deal to ask. He's even made comments about getting a ride with me the next time I go home. Was he serious or just joking -- I do not know. I can certainly pose the question and laugh it off if he thinks its a bad idea. The reason I question its appropriateness is because of our iffy status of being somewhere between friends and more. I don't want to make it appear that I'm being all, "Oh, come meet my family." That's clearly not my intent. But I do love the prospect of having his attention for an entire day or weekend.
