My best friend loves a married woman!

My best friend, let's call him Vince, he has known this girl for about 2 years. They met in school, it started off as friends then got to being sexual. School ended and they both had to go back home. They kept in contact over the phone and email. She got married a year back. She, let's call her Janet, didn't talk to Vince for 3 months. Janet told Vince that she married her H just as an deal for his kids to get medical care they needed for sicknesses. 2 months into the marriage she lost her job that was providing health care for the family. She has now been married for over a year. Last week Vince went to a convention and Janet flew out to see him. They drove to her parents house and stayed the night. They hung out at her parents house and Vince slept down stairs and Janet slept in her old room. Janet wanted to stay and sleep on the couch but went upstairs. They then both went to the convention together and stayed the night in a hotel for 2 nights. They stayed in the same bed and obviously one thing led to another. Janet told Vince that she told her husband all about their past and that her husband was ok with them staying in the same room. Janet has been telling Vince how she wants to be with him and all the things they wanna do. She then went home and still talks to every day. But now she is trying to keep them a secret from her husband so that he does get Vince in trouble. Vince wants me to tell him what to so. Any ideas what to tell him?

Tell Vince to stay away from her, she's married and he's going to get hurt if he continues to pursue her. She isn't available, even though she's acting like she's single, she's not.

If Vince were my friend, I'd be telling him that unless he likes getting cheated on, then it's probably a good idea to go off and find a girl that isn't a cheater.

If Vince doesn't like that advice, then I'd strongly suggest that he wait until this woman has ended her current relationship before engaging any further.

In my opinion, what they both did was wrong. They should either clear things up with the other people involved (ie. the husband), or end it. Continued deception of this nature is abhorrent, and should be avoided at all costs.
