That is all.

I take it that at this point writing down the story helped you clear your mind? I did read the original post.

I am not sure if you had a serious (not in a bad way) talk about the job issue with your so. Is he aware how you feel about this? If not, you shouldn't keep it down to yourself and wait for it to burst.

Tell him that you want him to be more - although he has done much for the household work, you are clearly not happy about that and I am guessing it's not enough to make a living for you both. Both of you need to be earning (from what I gather) and if that is the case that is what he has to do - he cannot get complacent.

I don't think this problem is at a stage where you should consider giving him an ultimatum or resort to drastic measures - initial basic communication should come first and foremost.

If you feel like he is getting selfish then probably you aren't expressing your needs very well. Communication tends to get foggy as time passes because people get familiar and think they understand each other know better than they actually do. Express your needs properly and also see what his needs are and what is holding him back.

Don't keep all this **** to yourself. Talk to him.

You're actually held down by gravity. That is all.
