When it becomes less of a glance, and more of a look - the kind that keeps coming back to you, and they are smiling - then they are checking you out, not just checking out guys in general. Thats when you smile back and then go talk to them if you have a chance, if you are interested. Otherwise, if its someone you are not interested in, then just stop making eye contact and make a point of not looking at them.
