I dont get it!

My bro has a friend hes know for a long time and yesterday they were watching a movie and I noticed she sat on the other side of the couch and she crossed her legs so they werent facing him (read that when girls do that they dont like that person)I know they are good friends and she calls him ALL the time and leaves messages.

 

Ive known my friend for 4 months and we were watching a movie and she sat right next to me, but she NEVER calls me! When I call her she sounds restless and bored so we never get to talk much over the phone. Only time she called was to ask if I could pick her up after school, but she also wanted to hangout after school cause she was gonna be bored but her mom said she cant cause shes in trouble. I knew she was cause we were both skipping on Tuesday and we got caught. Sometimes I feel she is using me for a ride or to skip with her even though we end up hanging out cause she never straight out asks to hangout, she asks for a ride THEN we hangout. (I dont ask though)

 

Anyways my bro and his friend dont get close much yet she wants to talk to him all the time! My friend who gets close to me seems to not want to talk to me. What gives? I mean she gave me her cell phone # and I didnt even ask for it! Also I was playing the Resident evil 4 demo and she said she would buy the game for me when it comes out as my Christmas present and I was like "Are you serious!?" I asked her a few days later if she was gonna get it for me and she said "January 11" (thats the day it comes out) So im guessing shes serious. I want to know if she is my friend or if she just wants to use me. I just dont get how to tell if someone likes you.

 

Btw its obvious I like her so you dont need to say thats what im trying to ask.

You can tell if someone likes you or not? The "flirting" and "eye contact" doesn't tell you?

 

It sounds like she must like you some...but I wouldn't ask her about getting that game for you anymore...to me that is rude (even if she did offer).

 

Maybe she doesn't talk to you very much because she's nervous (you know she could be shy) and giving you her cell number without you asking her for it, IMHO is a sign that she likes you or at least wanted to hear from you. I doubt very much a girl would give out her cell number with or without being asked if she didn't want that person calling her.

 

 

I say go for it, ask her to go out and do something with you (grab a bite to eat and see a movie or something) see how it goes then maybe if all works out you'll know where you stand.
