Back to the gym I go...

Hi! I'm 5'1, 110pds and currently started going back to the gym 4-5 times a week. I really want to work on my legs, arms and abs.

 

Leg Workout (every other day)

10-20 mins of stair stepper (I can't breatheeeeeee)

20 walking lunges with 10 pds weights

20 squats with weights

50 calf rises with weights

3 sets of 8-12 reps on leg press

 

and then I repeat the lunges/squats/calf rises another 3 times.

 

Arms (twice a week)

10 min bike workout

3 sets of 8-12 reps of arm workouts around the gym (usually 3 different machines)

3 sets of 15 reps of pullups and triceps lifts

and then I use 10 pd dumbbells and do several arm workouts

 

Abs

I'm a little stumped because I don't ever feel like they do anything

 

I really want to gain muscle, not lose weight. I don't have any to lose.

 

Any suggestions?

 

How can I get a killer workout? My main goal is nice toned legs with bigger quads and nice calves.

Sounds like the weights are not heavy enough. Are you progressing in working with heavier and heavier weights? Or do you resort to the same old routine each time?

Heavier and less reps/sets. It looks to me like over training.

Hey guys,I am here and i agree with your reviews because gym is the best source for keep maintain of the body fitness and build body muscles.According to me that gym work is so good for build the stamina and body strength.
