RC77
Having a girlfriend helps me out alot. Just the fact that I am working out for someone. Then again that someone could be yourself. Always try to think about why you are working out during the time you are doing it. "I am doing this so I can become even more of a sexy beast!" or something along those lines. jen4
but I'll try. I was just asked this very question at the gym Fri. I have been working out since I was 12. I started with richard simmons on tv and that gilad show, the one in hawaii. It's fun! I basically eat like crap, but I do try,it's just hard . for me the diet is the hardest and working out is too easy. FOr others it's the complete opposite. I like to try to look my besst and working out does that, I enjoy seeing results and knowing that I am helping the aging process to not be so rough on meLOL hang in there, the motivation comes from inside!! blue636
It's like doing your homework in college. You really don't want to, but you just do it because you know you must and it's important for your future.
johan
It also doesn't hurt to just take a break. Sometimes a loss of motivation occurs when you plateau. When I was racing, my motivation went up and down a lot. Forcing myself through a low-motivation period sometimes just caused me to burn out and get completely sick of it. Listen to your body. Also changing your routine can help. Find an alternative excercise to do for a few weeks. New mental challenges can make a huge difference.
